A 36-year veteran of the financial services industry, Michael established Duprez Financial in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina 15 years ago. He is a Registered Representative who holds securities licenses 6, 63, 66 & 7. As a trusted advisor Michael has clients he serves in 24 states.
He has also earned two additional designations. Certified Income Specialist (CIS™), and Certified Estate and Trust Specialist (CES™) both being of importance to the retirees and pre-retirees he works with.
Michael's opinion and advice has been sought after by the local media with multiple appearances on CBS (WBTW) Channel 4 News and has been interviewed for articles which were published in The Sun News .

Taber Brown is recognized as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and an Accredited Estate Planner, highlighting his dedication to serve his clients at the highest level for nearly 9 years. He is also a member of the National Association of Estate Planners and Councils (NAEPC).
Educating clients is paramount in Taber’s practice. Since 2016 he has contributed his time and expertise teaching adult education classes in financial matters through Coastal Carolina University’s OLLI program. These classes have proved invaluable to students as attendees closely mirror the client demographic at Duprez Financial. Most of the people Taber serves are entering, or in, retirement. Being a major focus area in his practice, as well as a primary need in the Myrtle Beach area, Taber is well versed in meeting the needs of individuals embarking on their golden years and he relishes the opportunity to serve others.
Like many in the Myrtle Beach area, Taber was born and raised in New England. He and his wife, Dr. Alexis Brown are from small-town Vermont but have happily found their final destination on the Grand Strand. For them, the heat beats shoveling snow half the year (especially when an ocean is nearby). They reside in Murrells Inlet and are blessed with two beautiful daughters, Leighton and Callait.

Michelle joined the firm in 2008. The knowledge and expertise her 12 years of experience lends to the firm and our clients is invaluable. She is always there with a smile and a caring ear that is appreciated by all.
In addition to her duties at Duprez Financial, she is responsible, along with her husband Geoff for raising her family of three wonderful children Christina, Jessica and Ethan.
