Qualifications

Michael has extensive personal and professional experience in the Financial Services industry having entered the field in 1981. In January 2005 he established Duprez Financial here in Myrtle Beach, SC.

He hold securities licenses 7,66 & 6 series, as well as Insurance licenses in various states to include South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Washington, Virginia and Missouri.

As an Independent Registered Representative working with Securities America, Michael's available investment tools and products include a wide array of options to better serve his clients. In addition, Michael also has earned the the only nationally recognized retirement designation CIS TM (Certified Income Specialist) . While, well over a million people provide retirement advice; less than 1% of them have obtained the CISTM designation.*

Michael has also earned the designation of CES (Certified Estate and Trust Specialist) to assist his clients with the important decisions surrounding estate planning and trust issues.

His advice and opinion has been regularly sought after by the local media. He has been interviewed for articles published in The Sun News and has multiple appearances on CBS (WBTW) Channel 4 News.

Michael, his wife Nancy and their spoiled dog, a Westie named MacKenzie, enjoy the great weather the Myrtle Beach affords. On most weekends, you may find Michael on one of the area’s 105 golf courses (after the yard work is done, of course!).
